LearnOS is a safe-mode launcher that turns any Android tablet into a focused learning device for children. It locks the tablet to approved educational apps and websites, removing distractions while keeping kids safe.

Download the installer (APK) from the Download section, open it on your Android tablet, follow the three setup steps, and create a parent password. The whole process takes under five minutes.

Yes. LearnOS is free to use. It's a student-built project created to help bridge the learning gap with technology that cares.

What is Safe Mode? expand_more
Safe Mode locks the tablet to a curated set of approved educational apps and websites. Children can't leave the learning environment, install new apps, or change important settings.
Can my child exit the app on their own? expand_more
No. Exiting Safe Mode requires the parent or teacher password, so children stay within the approved environment until an adult unlocks it.
How do I choose which apps and sites are allowed? expand_more
From the parent and teacher dashboard, you can approve or remove apps and websites at any time, and set healthy screen-time limits per child.

Updates happen automatically in the background whenever the tablet is connected to the internet — no manual steps needed.
